I was assigned to be subordinate to Section 2 (1) of Section 2 of the Pradeshiya Sabha Act No. 15 of 1987

I am the Minister of Local Government Construction Minister Ranasinghe Premadasa in terms of powers. By this law,

The area described in Part I of this schedule should be a pradeshiya sabha area for the purpose of the said act.

Section 2 of this Schedule specifies the administrative limits of the Pradeshiya Sabha.

Pradeshiya Sabha area and a pradeshiya sabha which will be declared under paragraph 1 of this Act will be assigned and designated in the five Pradeshiya Sabha members.

The Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha should be appointed as a Chairman, Deputy Chairman and 20 other elected members of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha.
